STEM All Stars is an international nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization driven towards sparking girls’ interest in STEM fields and encouraging them to explore STEM careers. We are concerned about empowering girls throughout their learning years by making available STEM clubs, and workshops to help them improve their self-confidence. We use our funds and donations for our activities each year, and to provide STEM equipment (computers, projectors, tool kits for hands-on experiments, etc.) to girls around the country, including under-served areas. Assist girls in underprivileged schools by introducing clubs and providing them educational supplements relating to STEM education. STEM education is paramount for girls in order to keep up with today’s society and be treated fairly.
Our Initiative
The mission is to the work together to encourage young girls to enter STEM fields when they begin their careers. To this day, statistics prove that women hold less than 25 percent of all available STEM jobs. It is shocking to hear that a woman still earns 87 cents for each dollar a man earns, and a male is 6 times more likely to take engineering than a female. Helping the future generation of girls to be successful people is STEM All Stars goal.
Our Programs
1. Clubs
The STEM All Stars clubs are powerful and highly motivated, which engage students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The motive of these clubs is to provide students with quality time to explore subjects in STEM and let their hidden creative talents come to life. These clubs are run by our STEM All Stars ambassadors and by volunteers on campuses, in libraries, and in community center. If interested, students can enroll their school and start their own STEM All stars club!
2. Workshops
There are various events STEM All Stars conducts for the promotion of STEM interest for girls for all grades. STEM All Stars hosts a variety of events in collaboration with other organizations, educators, school faculties, and the government. The goal of these events is to make them more passionate by teaming up for interesting experiments, learning from female role models, and finding out how others are utilizing STEM for the benefit our world.
